    Trevor is from Great Falls, MT. Trevor was elected to RENEW Secretary-Treasurer. Trevor works for NorthWestern Energy as a Maintenance Electrician he is a Inside Wireman.  Trevor proudly served in the US Army.     Brothers and Sisters,  help is needed! Brother Bill Kipp was recently involved in an accident while trail riding near Helena. It was a sever accident he has multiple injuries and the Doctors in Montana had him life flighted out to Harbor View Medical Center in Seattle.

Russ enjoys working for the customers, when Russ is able to take time away from keeping the customers satisfied you might catch Russ teeing up on the course listening to 80's music rocking the CASBAH.

    FROM THE BUSINESS MANAGER July already, we still have a few Lineman, Operators and Groundman on the books.  Not too shiny for this time of year, but we have been filling calls every week as they come in.  I think over all we are a little bit down from the last two years but close.  Woody is out and about trying to visit as many crews as possible.

    Lawrence lives in Missoula and is a Journeyman Lineman and is a Line Foreman. Some of the perks and or challenges that Lawrence enjoys about his job is foremost to be able to be outdoors and the everyday challenges of linework.

    JR lives in Bozeman and is the Unit 102 chair, JR works for Northwestern Energy as a working  journeyman Lineman foreman. What JR likes the most about his job is Helping oput  people with something that they really need and cannot do it for themsleves. On Sundays you might catch JR cheering on the Denver Bronco's.

    For a century, Holter Dam has stood 110 feet above the Missouri River. The fortress of concrete spans more than 1,300 feet, holding Holter Reservoir upstream from a blue ribbon stretch of trout water below. On Tuesday, NorthWestern Energy recognized those who constructed the dam and the 100 years of service it has provided.

    FROM THE BUSINESS MANAGER This last month was a very busy month here at 44.  We negotiated four contracts and are still working on another.  The first one was with Vigilante Electric Co-Op, the negotiating team members were, Chase White, Vance Forsman, and Chuck Romero.  They did a great job and negotiated a solid three-year agreement.

    David Friede is the Missoula (unit 108) chair as well as a Journeyman Lineman, during the day David works for Missoula Electric Coop. One of Davids favorite part of the job that he does is completing tasks, keeping America Powered! David enjoys following the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Bobcats.

    Contract ratifications vote Saturday May 5th. Construction members of Local 44, 532, and 768 with paid up dues receipt travelers working in area for at least six months. This package come out with a do pass recommendation from the negotiation team you elected.

There are still 13 calls for Journeyman on the board in the Hall.  With the year end being right around the corner the push is on to get err done.

    FROM THE BUSINESS MANAGER Greetings, it is now definitely that special time of year.  In mid-September we had extreme fire danger warnings and winter storm warnings at the same time for the same area.  Doesn’t that beat all?  On the 15th of September we had lots of snow in the Butte area with 1 inch of moisture falling.

    HELENA, Mont. – October 23, 2018 – The Montana Public Service Commission voted to accept a stipulation between NorthWestern Energy, the Montana Consumer Counsel, and other parties that sends all the benefits NorthWestern accrues from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) back to Montana ratepayers for gas and electricity.

Myles enjoys the challenges of linework, it brings a passion to him to keep the power on for customers.

    In early May Upper Missouri Water Shed Alliance (UMOWA) took on a stream bank restoration project near Wolf Creek on the Missouri river. We Planted about 140 shrubs to help stabilize a bank that cattle had beaten down. The trees, with the help from of a couple of Helena Boy Scout troops and IBEW were planted and fenced to keep them safe from deer and beavers.

    Lives in Missoula, Mt  is a Journeyman Lineman. Bob enjoys being out doors and "doing a job many people are scared to to try". Bob also enjoys following the Montana Grizzlies when he is not out hunting, camping or horn collecting. When it comes to listeing to music Bob is pretty easy going and will listen to a little bit of everything.

    Butte Copper City Kings Squirt team recently finished in second place at the state Hockey tournament in Havre. The squirts beat Bozeman Ice Dogs, Missoula Bruins and Havre Ice Hawks.  The squirts lost to Glasgow Ice Dogs for the state crown. In the squirt division there are currently 12 teams in the division.
